Hot Tub Repair Chesterfield – Hot Tub Tripping Electrics
After receiving a call from a customer in chesterfield the local S.A.S hot tub repair man was called out.
On inspection S.A.S engineers usually go through a rigorous diagnosis process to find fault coupled with cause. Important to note not just the fault.
After removing the cover for the PCB (circuit board or brains of the hot tub), the engineer immediately spotted a fault.
From the above picture you will see not only are the heater terminals leaking (bottom of the picture the two brass connections) but also the black sensors at either end too. in addition to tripping unfortunately this caused the heater element to fail to.
Given that water bridging the two terminals would instantly trip the hot tub electrics this looked the likely cause. Also equally important our local Derbyshire S.A.S hot tub engineer also checked for other causes.
Finally after being satisfied this was the main cause of failure the engineer replaced the heater element and seals. In addition he also replaced the sensor seals and cleaned the heater.
Job done!
Hot Tub Not Heating In Derby
After receiving a callout for a customer in derby, our engineers where sent to diagnose a hot tub that was not heating.
After locating the heating on the 12 year old jacuzzi we found the problem was a faulty flow switch incorporated on the heater.
It is important to note on older heaters and systems with satellite style flow switches; calcium or chemical build up can cause the flow switch to need adjusting accordingly.
However in this instance the flow switch was replaced leaving a happy customer and heating hot tub.
